All New Mazda CX-30 SUV announced

The next-generation of SUVs from Mazda has been announced at the Geneva International Motor Show

The all-new Mazda CX-30 will slot into the Mazda SUV line up between the CX-3 and the CX-5 and is on the same platform as the latest Mazda3. With its raised profile, black wheel arches and slender lights like the other CX models but with the curved, simple body panels of the Mazda3.

Mazda has decided to offer only mild hybrid petrol and diesel engine choices, giving customers the choice for a cleaner engine, or something for those who do long-range journeys. All models will feature all-wheel drive balanced by a central distribution system and automatic gearboxes will also be available.

The CX-30 may share the platform with the Mazda3 but it's narrower and shorter design makes it perfect for city driving, where space can be tight with the higher ride height you expect from a Mazda SUV. Ideal for growing families the new SUV will feature the same rear leg room of the CX-5 with a 430-litre boot space, that’s 80 litres more than the CX-3!

Inside the cabin you’ll find a neat integrated dashtop screen angled towards the driver and the raised 8.8-inch centre console sits in the edge to edge dash, giving the CX-30 a snug, sportier feel.  Luxury leather seats in the show model accompanied with leather trimming around the dashboard amp up the deluxe feel.

Safety technologies are plentiful in the CX-30 with pre-collision braking, traffic jam assist and driver monitoring functions to keep an eye on fatigue levels. The front of the new SUV is also designed to soften impact for pedestrians in the event of an accident.

This car will be a perfect replacement for drivers who are tiring of their Skoda Karoq or their Peugeot 3008. This little bit of Mazda luxury will enhance family life and bring back the pleasure of driving.

The Mazda CX-30 will be on sale in the later part of 2019, keep an eye on the Brindley News pages to find out more.
