There’s nothing we love more than letting our customers across the UK get behind the wheel of their cars, hit the open road and experience just how joyful driving can be.

But we’re well aware that racking up the miles like this comes at a price. The effects of climate change, unfortunately, cost the Earth, so we’re committed to doing what we can to minimise these outcomes as much as possible.

On the way towards greater sustainability, we’ve been getting our green on through a range of different activities and approaches. What have we been up to? See for yourself below…

What are we doing to be more sustainable?

Brindley Goes Green with Eden Sustainable

Our sites and buildings are fortunate enough to get plenty of sunlight throughout the year. Since we’re not ones to let an opportunity go to waste, we joined forces with leading solar rooftop experts Eden Sustainable to make sure all that daylight gets put to good use.

Every one of The Brindley Group’s buildings now has solar panels, a move that lets us increase our sustainability, make our operations more environmentally friendly, and make greater savings we can put into other green activities.

Building extra EV charge stations across our sites

With news of the 2030 ban on the sale of petrol and diesel cars, electric and hybrid vehicles are bound to be more common on the roads. We’re staying ahead of the incoming changes by offering more EV charge stations across our sites.

Built to charge electric vehicles in no time at all, our fast-charging stations will help keep EV users’ cars juiced up whenever they come in to see us for a service, so they’re ready for whatever journey they have ahead of them. Paperless transactions

We found that keeping a paper trail was only going to lead to one thing: harm to the environment. Printouts, bills, folders and files that were full of paper. As well as the clutter, all these things soon add up to less eco-friendly office spaces.

So, we've moved away from our old practices and are transitioning to a paperless system. This shift means more emails, digital storage, electronic billing and payments, and significantly less clutter. As a result, we're now much more efficient, secure, and organised.​

Tyre Recycling & Disposal

Every day over 100,000 worn tyres are taken off vehicles in Britain, that's around 50 million tyres per year. Since the 2006 EU Landfill Directive came into place, nearly 100% are recovered and recycled in some form, but we all have a shared responsibility to ensure waste tyres are disposed of in a safe and reliable manner.

At Brindley Group we take our environmental responsibility seriously, which is why we recycle as much of our waste as possible. Working with a registered waste carrier we ensure that all tyres are collected, stored and disposed of in accordance with the law.

For a small environmental charge of £6.25 we will dispose of all waste products from your car in a government-approved manner. This includes everything from tyres and exhausts to anti-freeze and brake fluid.
