The New Hyundai i30 looks to have undergone an extensive and exciting make-over, focusing on a stronger, sharper and sportier asethetic. First revealed ahead of the public world premiere of the car at the 2020 Geneva Motor show, it features a host of upgrades including redesigned bumpers and new LED headlamps.
In dramatic, low-lit images of the N Line model the most significant design features can be seen. The redesigned front bumper and new grille with it's updated mesh pattern give a wider look and much stronger stance and presence. Brilliantly complimented by new LED headlamps and sharp V shape integrated Daytime Running Lights, they create an impactful and memorable first impression of the car.
The New i30 will also sport new rear bumper, rear lights and alloy wheel designs in 16-inch, 17-inch and 18-inch styles. The interior has been enhanced with a new digital instrument cluster and a large 10.25-inch display among many more upgrades on it's predecessor.
The New i30 not only features a new design but a new 1.5 litre T-GDi engine and for the first time a 48-Volt mild hybrid option.
The New i30 enhanced with upgraded Bluelink
In the midst of a rapid period of development for Hyundai's models, Bluelink will also be recieving an upgrade with a range of new features and a refined user interface - and the New i30 will be the first model to be equipped with the latest version of this suite of Driver assistance tools.
Hyundai's Bluelink combines intelligent automotive and IT technology to provide superior comfort, safety and convenience for drivers. Featuring a more fine-tuned user interface, the upgraded Bluelink will offer a range of new benefits and services for Hyundai customers. The New Bluelink's user interface will feature a sharper and clearer layout, a choice of colour schemes, enhanced night time modes. You'll even be able to select different ambient audible atmosphere's for a calming commute. Enhancements to it's core functionality include Connected Routing which will provide even more information with pin point accuracy through cloud-based GPS data, live parking information and advanced searching and auto-fill options in one menu.
The New i30 N
Hyundai Motor has also revealed the first information about the latest generation of its best-selling hot hatch, the i30 N. In a series of low-lit images which were released today (16th September), viewers can see that the new i30 N will have an updated design focused on dynamic performance, emotion and statement. The new i30 N features new, aggressive-looking front and rear bumpers, two large exhaust pipes, a wide centre grille with the N signature, and new rear lamps and new LED headlamps with V-shaped DRLs.
The new design makes the car look fast even when it is standing still. The images also show newly-developed 19-inch forged alloy wheels, which are lighter than those of the previous i30 N, contributing to weight reduction in the car. Hyundai has also revealed that the new i30 will be available with the company’s eight-speed dual clutch transmission (N DCT), including dedicated N performance shifting functions – the first Hyundai car in Europe to do so.
