Brindley Garages to Re-Open on May 11

On May 11, Brindley Garages will re-open all sites to the public, offering aftersales services to customers. New regulations, opening times and operations will be in place to maintain a safe environment for customers and staff alike – but we hope to provide the excellent service expected of Brindley Garages.

Our new opening times will be 09:00–17:30pm Monday to Friday, with no open hours during the weekend. Our garages will be operating with reduced staff until we receive the same level of bookings and interest as we enjoyed prior to the COVID-19 enforced lockdown.

Brindley Garages’ Operations Director, Chris Adams, shared his excitement for the news: "At the start of this crisis we pledged to you that we'd keep you fully updated as the situation evolved and how we intended to reopen when the time was right, I’m delighted to say that time will be the 11th of May.”

We have also implemented a few changes to maintain safety, such as a one-way system and two separate waiting areas to accommodate social distancing (where possible). Sneeze screens have been placed along the service counters and hand sanitizers have been placed at all entrance points.

Upon entry to a Brindley Garages site, you will be greeted by a number of signs explaining the new measures. Following the guidance of these signs can help make your trip to Brindley Garages safe, seamless and enjoyable.

Furthermore, you may notice that members of the Brindley Garages team are wearing face masks and protective gloves. Please don’t be alarmed, these are purely for preventative measures. The whole team have been instructed to maintain the highest level of care to minimise the risk of any contamination – and all the major touchpoints of cars in our care will be routinely wiped with anti-bacterial products.

To ensure all cars that come into our possession are handled in a safe and conscientious manner, our cleaning partner, Motorclean, have devised this guide to common car touchpoints which should be treated with anti-bacterial products.

In order to restrict the number of employees who will have contact with your car we will not be offering a courtesy service wash at this time.

With the new restrictions and regulations in place, there is a chance that visits to Brindley Garages may take a little longer than they previously did – as we accommodate all the changes. But, we hope you all understand we are doing our utmost to help you with all your motoring needs and stay safe at the same time.

We thank you for your patience during this difficult period, and we are thrilled to be able to re-open our doors to customers throughout the Midlands. We hope to see you all very soon, and request that you follow the Government guidance and our own in-house suggestions when visiting a Brindley Garage.
