The newly announced Vivaro Life is Vauxhall’s upcoming MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), scheduled for production in their Luton manufacturing facility. Announced on 18th January 2019, it will be available for orders in February with two lengths, Medium (at 4.94m) and Large (at 5.3m), this vehicle is designed to offer the highest class of comfort and convenience.
The Vivaro Life design direction
Spacious and comfortable interiors, with nine seats regardless of model choice, are complemented by advanced technology, from the latest in the manufacturer’s infotainment systems to driver assistance systems. Meanwhile, design is being optimized to provide the most comfortable ride, with short overhangs, opening tailgate windows and a two-piece panorama roof. Large buyers can spend a little extra for the Lounge option, which adds massage and heating function to the front seats, and movable leather seats behind them which can be folded out of the way with no issue.
Practical and convenient
With a 3.28m wheelbase, both Medium and Large versions of the Vivaro life bring space that can compete with any van, sporting a bigger tailgate, more accessible loading and a greater payload than the majority of what’s on the market. Yet that utility doesn’t come at the cost of comfort. Leather seats on aluminium rails make it easy to adjust your seating as you need to, with foldable front passenger seats offering up even more transportation potential. Multiple seating configurations to be made available, too. Despite all that extra space, it doesn’t mean any extra bulk, with both versions of the Vivaro Life measuring under 1.90m high.
Vauxhall’s new direction
The Vivaro Life is the latest step in Vauxhall’s “PACEI” plan, aiming to bring eight new and refreshed models to the market. Also included in this plan is the latest Corsa. Both the Corsa and the Vivaro Life are slated to come with purely electric cars, joining the plugin-hybrid Grandland X as part of the brand’s continual push into the electric market. The new Vivaro Life also marks a new standard of driver assistance systems, bringing ultrasonic sensors, and camera to better monitor the car’s surroundings, smart features recognizing and deploying emergency braking when it’s needed, and intelligent cruise control to match the flow of traffic around you.
Advanced technology made more available than ever
The Vauxhall Connect telematics system is to be rolled out following the Vivaro Life’s release, allowing for live access to real-time traffic reports, emergency call functions, and roadside assistance features to keep drivers safe on the road. If emergency situations arise, such as the airbags being deployed, it even contacts the emergency services automatically. Meanwhile, a brand new 7” touchscreen brings more infotainment features than ever will full phone integration for Android and Apple devices. Multimedia Navi is an improvement on the old Multimedia system adding navigation functions that are accessible throughout Europe with 3D view, point-of-interest notification and even realistic geographic display.
The Vauxhall Vivaro Life marks an exciting new time for MPV drivers, promising greater safety, more comfortable design, and better use or transportation space than ever. For more news as it comes, stay in touch with Brindley by contacting us today.
