The MG4 XPOWER is MG’s latest electric car that’s designed to be both practical and sporty. Its 320kW motor will take you from 0-60mph in just 3.8 seconds, rivalling the fastest sports cars and hot hatches.
If you’ve let the MG4 XPOWER stretch its legs and depleted the battery, you’ll be back on the road in no time, charging from 10-80% in just half an hour.
The car also features an all-new all-wheel drive system that enhances traction, stability, and safety through active braking on the inside wheels.
The MG4 EV XPOWER is the next generation of performance EVs, making exhilarating 0-60 speeds accessible in a comfortable family car.
The 320kW is comparable to a range of almost 430bhp, over 30bhp more than an Audi RS3, and much kinder to the planet.
Compared to the other cars in the MG range, the MG4 EV XPOWER is just slightly larger than the compact MG3, but packs in much more power.
Although the MG4 EV XPOWER is a comfortable family car, it’s also a capable sporty car. And nothing says sporty car more than launch control. Simply put the car into Sport Mode, fully depress the brake, then the accelerator and release the brake to unleash all 320kW that the MG4 EV XPOWER has.
It’s not all about power, though. Comfort and usability have also been thought of. If you’ve forgotten to charge your phone before you set off, no worries! You can charge your phone wirelessly via the wireless charging pad. Or, if you need to charge quickly, USB-C and USB-A ports are fitted into the car, which can also be used to engage Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
Plugging your phone into the USB-A port via a high-quality cable will automatically bring the option for Android Auto or Apple CarPlay on the floating 10.25” infotainment screen.
The Track Mode Display shows a range of metrics to dig into the nitty-gritty and improve lap times, if you decide to test the car’s limits on a track.
In a car like the MG4 XPOWER, speed is nothing without the practicality to use the car for everyday tasks. The boot space is ample, with 363L expanding up to 1177L with the seats folded down.
The X in XPOWER stands for all-wheel drive, the system that improves stability, traction, and ultimately, safety by keeping you glued to the road.
The advanced braking system will kick in if it detects a cyclist or pedestrian cutting in front of your vehicle, keeping other road users safe as well as you.
The MG4 EV XPOWER will even alert you if you’re leaving your lane on the motorway.
