Job Introduction

Brindley Honda are currently looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead the aftersales team at our busy West Bromwich dealership. As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of our service department, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing workshop productivity, and driving team performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to bring strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

The Service Manager will have excellent organisational and communication skills. Previous experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar role is required. Due to the nature of the work, a full clean UK driving licence will be required.

About the Role

  • Assisting in the day-to-day management of the workshop
  • Booking customer vehicles in for maintenance and/or repairs, and liaising with the workshop team to schedule the workload
  • Meeting customers on arrival and providing them with a seamless service, from drop off to vehicle handover
  • Updating customers with progress on their vehicle, as well as authorising additional work and making follow-up calls
  • Liaising with the Workshop to ensure customers vehicles are ready on time

About You

  • You will have experience in a similar role involving workshop control
  • You will be able to meet and exceed sales targets
  • You will have the passion to deliver an excellent customer experience and the ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers
  • A well-presented individual with a desire, attitude and character to succeed
  • You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and punctuality
  • You will have great administrative skills with knowledge of dealer management systems
