Job Introduction

Brindley Vauxhall, Cannock has as a fantastic opportunity available for an excellent individual to join our team at our busy site as a Sales Controller.

As a Sales Controller, you will be the key to our sales teams success, supporting and working closely with our General Manager to inspire and empower our sales colleagues. You will be a natural leader and embody the the Brindley ethos, ensuring the best experience possible for each of our customers. You will be able to engage and develop people to become highly effective sales people and help us to shake off all those outdated car industry clichés and help us drive into the fast lane towards becoming the most desired car retailer.

About the Role

  • You will be a excellent communicator and a natural leader with the ability to coach and motivate others.
  • Ensuring the sales process is followed and that paperwork is completed accurately targets are hit.
  • Coaching and training to improve performance of the sales team.
  • Conducting regular customer experience checks and looking for ways to improve the customer experience.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure sales targets are met on a monthly basis and records are broken.
  • Liaising with other key departments on site to ensure the customer can receive their new car in a same day service and managing expectations if there is to be a short delay.
  • Looking after our Used Car Autotrader presences, updating adverts with excellent descriptions and updating stock. Monitoring market prices, reviewing images.
  • You will be in charge of making sure our valeting team are on the ball and you will be keeping a close eye on work flow.
  • You will also have your own reduced sales target which you will need to achieve

About You

  • A positive attitude with the ability to lead and motivate a team is essential
  • You must be able to facilitate growth and development of each member of the Sales team
  • Previous experience within this position is essential
  • You must be an excellent communicator and have great customer interaction skills
  • A highly motivated individual with the determination to succeed in a competitive sales environment is necessary
  • You must be smart in appearance and well organised
  • A full UK driving license is required
