Job Introduction

The Brindley Group are currently looking to recruit an experienced PDI Technician to be based at our busy Group Operations Centre in Featherstone, near Wolverhampton.

We require a highly detail orientated individual, to carry out careful inspections of vehicles before they are delivered to our customers. The successful candidate will inspect each vehicle for faults or damage before delivery. They will be comfortable using diagnostic equipment to carry out road tests to ensure that vehicles are safe and also perform basic mechanical maintenance.

About the role

  • Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections
  • Identifying faults and/or damage and record findings electronically
  • Road testing vehicles to ensure that they are safe and roadworthy
  • Checking and topping up oil and water levels
  • Carrying out basic vehicle maintenance
  • Using different manufacturer warranty systems to support inspection process
  • Following a manufacturers inspection check sheet

About you

  • Have experience in a similar role
  • You must have a basic understanding of mechanical repair and have an excellent eye for detail
  • You will be able to work efficiently, with high numbers of vehicles coming into our workshop
  • Have a strong ability to manage own workload
