Job Introduction

Brindley Hyundai has a fantastic opportunity available for an excellent and ambitious individual to join us as an Assistant Service Manager at our busy site in West Bromwich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.

As the Hyundai Assistant Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the service department. You will focus on achieving and exceeding targets whilst ensuring each customer receives outstanding customer service while controlling and improving the day-to-day running of the Dealerships.

Brindley Group managers work a variety of flexible patterns which can typically include Saturdays to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

In this role, you will be reporting directly to our Hyundai Group Service Manager

About the Role

  • Actively manage the servicing team to ensure the department is efficient and organised.
  • Manage front of house staff and workshop technicians, ensuring communication and cooperation.
  • Liaise with workshop and warranty department to ensure customers vehicles are ready on time.
  • Supervise inspections, servicing and other various workshop duties.
  • Ensure that your servicing team adhere to all health and safety protocols.

About You

  • You will have experience in a similar role involving workshop control.
  • You will have the passion to deliver an excellent customer experience and the ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers.
  • A well-presented individual with a desire, attitude and character to succeed.
  • You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and punctuality.
  • You will have great administrative skills with knowledge of dealer management systems.
