The Honda Civic Type R has been awarded the title of 'Best Fun Car' at the 2023 Autocar Awards at Silverstone Circuit. The annual Autocar Awards recognise the best and most innovative vehicles in the industry and this year they have recognised the Civic Type R for its impressive performance, refinement and interior quality.
Launched in late 2022, the Type R has been developed using the success of its predecessors. Into its sixth generation and over 25 years since it first launched, the Civic Type R has always been known for its dynamic driving capabilities with it powerful engine and suspension. However, with this latest model of the Type R, it takes this to a whole new level, this is the most exhilarating Civic Type R experience to date. Its 2.0L four cylinder engine can develop a maximum power output of 329PS and 420Nm of torque with an acceleration of 0-100km/h in just 5.4 seconds.
