Kia CEED SPORTSWAGON Plug-In Hybrid
Kia Ceed Sportswagon Plug-In Hybrid West Bromwich & Wolverhampton
The popular Ceed Sportswagon has just received a hybrid make-over resulting in the Ceed Sportswagon Plug-in Hybrid – a car providing the space, utility and practicality of a sports tourer with the ecological mindset of a rechargeable Hybrid.
The Kia Ceed Sportswagon Plug-in Hybrid sports distinctive new LED lights and front ‘Ice Cube’ LED daytime running lights as standard, boosting its maximum visibility and recognition. These LED’s not only provide a more striking and modern aesthetic they are also purposeful as LED’s consume less energy than other bulbs, making them ideal for electric driving. A driver orientated, modern cabin awaits inside with a 10.25" navigation touchscreen integrated in the horizontal design of the dashboard, displaying information in HD, including turn-by-turn navigation instructions, audio information and phone calls. Bring your own tunes on your journey with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The battery pack is located beneath the rear seating so it doesn’t take up valuable cargo space, meaning the Ceed Sportswagon Plug-in Hybrid offers 437 litres of luggage space and up to 1,506 litres with the 40:20:40 split fold rear seats down.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist uses a camera to monitor cars ahead giving you a visual warning in the event of collision risk. Using the optional radar sensor, it enables pedestrian detection, in which case it alerts you with vibrations on the steering wheel and finally the car brakes if there is no driver reaction. High Beam Assist detects other vehicles ahead and automatically changes to low beam ensuring you don’t dazzle on-coming traffic.
The Ceed Sportswagon Plug-in Hybrid features Kia’s new European built Hybrid powertrain, combining an 8.9kWh lithium-polymer battery pack, a 44.5kW electrical motor and an efficient 1.6 GDi engine with a six-speed double-clutch transmission. For maximum efficiency regenerative braking technology harvests kinetic energy when braking to recharge the battery whilst the Coasting Guide analyses your route to let you know when to take your foot off the pedal.
Explore the Ceed Sportswagon Plug-in Hybrid at Brindley Kia West Bromwich or Wolverhampton and discover how you can complete your daily commuting purely on electric power and bring all your gear along for the ride.
